Curtis Davis
President and CEO |
Curtis Davis was appointed president and chief executive officer of iWatt in October, 2003. Curtis, who has more than 25 years experience in the semiconductor industry joins iWatt from Analog Devices, where he served as vice president and general manager of Analog Devices' Silicon Valley operations, primary producers of the company's precision amplifier and power management product lines. He was responsible for business strategy, implementation of products and services, and the execution of marketing, engineering and finance for these multi-million dollar businesses.
Throughout his distinguished career at Analog Devices, Curtis has lead several technology and business development initiatives resulting in technology and market share leadership positions for the company. These include the ATE components business, Micro machined Relay and iCoupler technology development. During his career, he has held IC Designer, Design Engineering Manager, and Product Line Director roles. These led to the position of Vice President and General Manager for the multi-million dollar Silicon Valley based Business Unit located in San Jose, CA.
Curtis holds a BSEET from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at Boston University.

John Wagner
Senior VP and GM, Computing and Infrastructure Products |
Prior to becoming the President of IKOR in 2002, Mr. Wagner was the Vice President of Product Development and Marketing at VisionTek LLC - a privately held Computer Products company – where he introduced over 50 new, core products including “best in class” award winners, diversified the product portfolio and introduced and managed the internal contract manufacturing business. Prior to VisionTek, John founded an international wireless (GSM Based) data products business unit with the Mobile Computing Division at Motorola. The GSM business adopted existing technologies to create a new PCMCIA interface for GSM cell phones. Before joining Motorola, he managed the Mobile Corporate Strategy organization for Advanced Micro Devices – defining the mobile opportunity and corporate business plans for 6 autonomous business units. Prior to AMD, John led the Professional Notebook product group at Zenith Data Systems.
John has 6 US Patents and a holds Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Architecture from Illinois State University.

Gyan Tiwary
Senior VP and GM, Consumer and Custom Products |
Gyan has over 18 years of experience in the Semiconductor and Electronics Industry. Prior to joining iWatt, Gyan was the Founder, President and CEO of Simple Silicon, a leading analog technology licensing firm based in silicon valley. He was responsible for guiding Simple Silicon to become a premier provider of advanced Analog Front End Solutions for the consumer electronics marketplace.
Prior to that, Gyan was a Director of Sales & Marketing at Deutsch Technology, a Silicon Valley startup firm. Previously he has held senior Marketing and Management positions at Synopsys & EPIC; he was one of the earliest employees at EPIC Design, a firm where he contributed to its growth from a small startup, through its IPO and eventual buyout by Synopsys. He was also a Unit Design Manager on the Pentium II (P6) design team at Intel Corporation & a key microprocessor designer of Intel's i960 family of RISC processors.
Gyan has authored many industry publications and holds two US patents in the field of semiconductor IC design. He holds a MSEE degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York.

Don Devost
CFO and VP |
Don Devost has more than 15 years experience in the semiconductor industry and brings significant financial management and expertise to iWatt. Don joined iWatt from Analog Devices where he served most recently as Director of Finance and Operations for the World-wide Sales Division of Analog Devices. Prior to that, he held various product line controllership positions and managed the cost accounting function for the company's largest manufacturing location in Wilmington, MA. Previously, he worked for IBM Microelectronics in financial planning. Don holds a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management.

Dr. Xuecheng Jin Ph.D
VP IC Engineering |
Before joining iWatt in 2006, Dr. Xuecheng Jin served as the Chief Technology Officer at Simple Silicon Inc., where his leadership and technical contribution was instrumental in establishing the company as a premier world-class provider of advanced analog and mixed signal integrated circuit technology for Video Analog Front Ends and RF Transceivers. Prior to starting at Simple Silicon Inc, he served as an Analog Design Manager at BitBlitz Communications Inc (acquired by Intersil in 2004) leading Gigahertz SerDes designs using CMOS technology. Earlier he served in various analog design, consulting, and management positions at Integrated Telecom Express Inc (NASDAQ IPO in 2000), Sensant Corporation (acquired by Siemens in 2005), Texas Instruments Inc, and Beijing Taixing Data Engineering Corporation.
Dr. Jin received BS degree from Tsinghua University, China, and MSc & Ph.D degrees from Stanford University, all in electrical engineering. He is widely recognized as a technology expert with more than 40 publications in the international journals and conferences. He is also the author or co-author of 4 international conference best student paper awards and 7 commercially licensed inventions.

Gary Pinelli

Gary Pinelli brings over 30 years sales and marketing experience to iWatt. During the past 5 years he served as VP sales & marketing, and VP sales for Volterra. Prior he was a founder, & VP Sales and Marketing for TelCom Semiconductor. He also worked in sales, marketing, and management capacities for Harris Semiconductor, Mostek, Intel, and RCA. Gary has developed expertise in bringing new technology to market with emerging companies and establishing strong relationships with strategic customers. He is a BSEE graduate of Bradley University.

Bob Porter
VP, Engineering and Advanced Technology,

Bob has a long and distinguished career with Advanced Energy/IKOR, He joined AEI in 1990, and was a co-founder of the IKOR business in 1999. With over 30 years of design experience (20 years of which are in technical staff management), Bob has designed and contributed to the design of more than 50% of the Advanced Energy and IKOR product lines, which have delivered more than $1B of revenue during his career. In addition, Bob holds 12 US Patents in the field of Power Conversion, with many foreign patents issued and pending. Bob has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.

Alex Sinar

Alex Sinar has over 25 years experience in the field of Semiconductor Technology, Integrated Circuit Manufacturing, Product and Test Engineering, Quality and Reliability. Most recently Alex held a position of Vice President of the World-Wide Customer Service at Zoran Corporation. Previously he held positions of VP of Operations at Zoran, Oak Technology and TeraLogic Inc. He has been an early member of the FSA, and first chairman of the FSA Modeling Subcommittee. Alex is a MSEE graduate from Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Doyle Slack

Doyle Slack joined iWatt in 2004. Doyle has 22 years of experience in the power management IC business. Most recently he was Senior Marketing Manager for the PC Power group at Analog Devices, Inc. where he led a team of business and technical specialists to develop a family of highly successful power conversion products used by most of the major PC OEMs. Previously, he worked at Micro Linear Corporation, Power Integrations, Inc. and Siliconix in various marketing roles. Doyle holds a BSEET from Kansas State University .
